Crop Health and Protection (CHAP) is an independent ‘nexus’ bringing together researchers, industry and government to accelerate the identification, development and adoption of innovative agricultural technologies to boost UK and global crop productivity in a sustainable manner. A catalyst for change, it aims to be the first point of call for UK growers, companies, researchers and government seeking support to develop applied crop-based agri-tech solutions. Crop Health and Protection is expediting a pipeline of innovative crop-based agri-tech products and services through collaboration, networking and investment in assets for applied and translational research. Our membership scheme aims to assist collaboration and innovation in agri-tech innovation both in the UK and globally.
“Crop Health and Protection’s decision to locate its open access Digital Phenotyping capabilities to accelerate agri-tech innovation was driven by the opportunity to partner with Rothamsted Research and access its excellent scientific expertise and facilities. We will continue to work together to promote and develop agri-tech innovation across the sector, driving impact and delivering practical and commercial solutions to the challenges of the 21st Century in the UK and across the globe.”
