As part of the Rothamsted campus in Harpenden, Rothamsted Conference Centre has a wide range of event and meeting spaces available to hire, and is one of the largest conference spaces in Hertfordshire. Our purpose built centre provides an extensive range of first class facilities, including:

• A tiered 300 seat auditorium, with state of the art audio visual and media streaming capabilities
• A large galleried area for exhibitions and displays that can also serve as an auditorium to seat up to 200
• An internal plaza where delegates can enjoy refreshments and network
• An 80 seat visualisation suite optimised for group interaction
• Six break out meeting rooms to accommodate 10-80 people, ideal for sessions in boardroom, cabaret or theatre styles
• An in-house restaurant offering a full menu of freshly prepared sustainable food to suit your event, with excellent DDR packages or dry hire available.

All our event spaces have been fitted with modern technology, including high-quality AV equipment, digital presentation facilities and a high speed Wifi connection.

Conferencing spaces

We have several options for conferencing events, including our state-of-the-art 300-seat Auditorium, our spacious Fowden Hall, the Plaza, and our Restaurant and lawn area.

Large meeting rooms

Rothamsted Conference Centre has large meeting rooms available, The Hive, Brenchley and Glynne and Warington (combined). These seat up to 80 delegates and can be set up in a range of layouts including boardroom, classroom, theatre, U-shape and cabaret.

Medium meeting rooms

Our medium meeting rooms, Pirie, Bailey, Glynne and Warington are perfect for meetings and smaller workshops, seating up to 30 delegates.

Small meeting room

Our small meeting room is the Dining Room, an ideal space for small meetings, interviews and 1-2-1s, and seats up to 8 delegates.
