Danny Whitehead

Danny was recently playing the role of Raoul Vicomte de Chagny in The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London’s West End. Danny’s previous credits include u/s Enjolras in Les Misérables (Queens Theatre, West End), u/s The Wizard and Dr Dillamond in Wicked (UK Tour), u/s Tobias in Sweeney Todd (Welsh National Opera and UK Tour), u/s Lt. Cable in the Lincoln Centres Broadway transfer of South Pacific (London’s Barbican and UK Tour), Fons in 1418 – The WW1 Arena Musical (Mechelen Arena, Belgium), u/s Dickon in Secret Garden (UK Tour), Breaking The Code (English Theatre, Frankfurt), Brian May’s Anthems (Royal Albert Hall), Rags (Lyric Theatre, West End).

Danny’s Television appearances include – The Olivier Awards 2012 (BBC, Royal Opera House), This Morning (ITV) and The Sondheim at 80 Prom (BBC, Royal Albert Hall).

Whilst training at the Guildford School of Acting Danny was awarded the BBC Performing Arts Award, the Sir Michael Redgrave Award and the Ian Fleming Award.

Danny will be performing at Rothamsted Manor on the 26th of June and the 2nd July
