Heritage Open Weekend at Rothamsted Manor is back this September!

Once again, we are taking part in Heritage Open Days – England’s largest festival of history and culture.

Heritage Open Days is England’s largest festival of history and culture, bringing together over 2,000 local people and organisations and thousands of volunteers. Every year in September, historical places across the country throw open their doors to celebrate their heritage, community, and history. It’s your chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences – and it’s FREE ENTRY.

Come to Rothamsted Manor, a rarely open to the public, Grade I listed Manor house set in beautiful grounds on the Rothamsted Research estate in Harpenden.

This year, the theme of Heritage Open Days is ‘Creativity Unwrapped’ celebrating the history of creativity. From the famous to the ‘familiar only to locals’.

Join us for some fun at Rothamsted Manor. You can look forward to:

Free parking

Parking signs will be placed outside the main iron gates to Rothamsted Manor. Please park on the grass verges – from here, please walk through the gates to the front of Rothamsted Manor.  No parking is available as standard directly outside the manor house. If you require disabled parking, please contact us before hand so we can arrange for our team to open the Manor gates.

Cancellation Policy

If you find you are unable to attend the event due to personal circumstances, please let us know by emailing events@rothamstedenterprises.com so that we are able to release your spaces.

If we are unable to run this event, you will receive a notification via email from our events team.

CREAM TEAS IN THE LIBRARY – SEPARATE BOOKING REQUIRED
