The recent Rothamsted Campus Discovery event brought together scientists, businesses, investors and stakeholders from across the agricultural sphere, bringing colleagues together and highlighting the pioneering work and technologies being developed at Rothamsted for the future of agriculture.

We heard from a range of expert speakers, covering topics such as:

• the power of gene expression data in animals
• chemical ecology research
• eco-friendly and sustainable plans for the future of Chitin extraction
• the Arabidopsis thaliana microbiome and it’s use in designing microbial synthetic communities for major crops
• turning CO2 into superior ingredients through the power of micro-algae
• how plant biotechnology can help deliver a greener future
