Steeped in history, with acres of gardens and nestled in beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, Rothamsted Manor sits in the historic Rothamsted Estate, home to some of the world’s oldest and most important agricultural research experiments.

Once the home of Sir John Bennet Lawes, a founder of Rothamsted Research, the research facility started within Rothamsted Manor itself, which now offers you the chance to make your next corporate meeting, training event, or awards ceremony unique. At Rothamsted Enterprises, we pride ourselves on our sustainability credentials, our on-site community of start-up Agri-Tech businesses, plus our profits returning to the world-leading agricultural science at Rothamsted Research.

The Grade I listed manor house offers three rooms for hire: the Great Drawing Room, the Library or the Lounge for parties of 30-100 delegates. All rooms offer extensive natural light, sweeping country views and historically elegant style. The venue has a range of breakout and catering spaces to support your main event. You will have an experienced event co-ordinator assigned to you as a main point of contact throughout the planning process and on the day of your event.

Rothamsted Manor offers its own corporate Day Delegate Rate from £59pp + VAT, as well as a range of team building activities and Christmas party offerings. Everyone gets access to complimentary Wi-Fi, and our flexible in-house catering team can offer everything from standing buffets, sit-down dinners and lunches, afternoon teas and canapé receptions, all with a focus on sustainable, local and seasonal produce.
