Baroness Maggie Jones Chair

As Chair of Rothamsted Enterprises Board, Maggie Jones is responsible for leading the Board in developing our strategy and vision, providing clear strategic direction, and ensuring that Rothamsted Enterprises delivers for all our shareholders. Baroness Jones is Shadow Minister for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, is a British Labour Peer and Vice Chair of the Science and Technology in Agriculture Parliamentary Group. She was previously a trade union official and has held non-executive positions in several consumer and environmental organisations.

What do you enjoy most about your job? Seeing our team thrive and develop and working with key stakeholders to deliver ambitious developments.

If I am not at work, you will find me… up a mountain.

Claire Wolstoncroft Campus Sales Manager

What do you enjoy most about your job? Meeting new people everyday and driving innovation and revenue to the campus.

If I am not at work, you will find me… spending time with my loved ones especially Buddy.

What do you enjoy most about your job? Working with such a great team and interacting with so many different and interesting people – I’m learning every day.

If I am not at work, you will find me… at the side of a rugby pitch, walking the dog and socialising.

What do you enjoy most about your job? Working with an amazing close knit team, in a happy working environment and being allowed to be creative and expressive.

If I am not at work, you will find me… Either at a school governors meeting or teaching about sustainability, at my local charity volunteering, jumping out of a plane, in the gym, playing golf or tennis, maybe in the Alps on a piste, at Kenilworth Road watching LTFC, cooking for family and friends.

What do you enjoy most about your job? The varied scope facilities on Campus means that no day is ever the same and I am constantly learning.

What do you enjoy most about your job? The brilliant team and the variation of work.

If I am not at work, you will find me… Driving my children to their activities, reading, at Harpenden cricket club (in the Summer).

Describe your job in three words? Sociable, fast-paced, collaborative.

What do you enjoy most about your job? I really enjoy interacting with tenants and knowing that I am positively impacting their experience at Rothamsted. I also really enjoy working with the team. I believe that we have a very cohesive way of working, which has built strong friendships and makes daily activities fun and enjoyable.

If I am not at work, you will find me… meeting up with friends, family and playing with the dog. I also like to draw – I enjoy drawing family, pet and building portraits. I occasionally play sport too, I grew up playing cricket, lacrosse and dancing!

What do you enjoy most about your job? The variety – no two days are the same. I love meeting new and interesting people, and working with a great team.
